Corporate Social Responsibility

Business has a vital role to play in making Fingal a better place to live and work. Fingal Chamber puts that belief into practice in three ways: bringing members together through our quarterly Community Forum, celebrating sustainable business through our annual awards, and raising money for local charities with the generosity of our members.

Whether your business wants to give back, get recognised for the good work you're already doing, or build sustainability into how you operate, there's a way to take part.

Community Forum

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global targets for a fairer, greener future, agreed by all UN member states in 2015. As part of the Chambers Ireland network, Fingal Chamber has been a signatory to the network-wide SDG pledge since 2019 - and the Community Forum is where our members turn that commitment into action.

The Fingal Chamber Community Forum meets quarterly to advance Corporate Social Responsibility across our member organisations. It's a space to share what's working, shape joint initiatives and strengthen the social impact of business in Fingal.

Through the Forum, members leverage the collective pool of expertise and collaborate on:

  • Embedding Sustainable Development Goal initiatives within their organisations
  • Initiatives that deliver positive social impact in the community
  • Sustainable business practices across the region

The Forum is open to all member organisations. To join, email our team at comms@fingalchamber.ie and we'll keep you informed of upcoming sessions.

Looking for funding for a community project? Fingal County Council's Community Grants and Funding page lists current schemes and the Funding Fingal Guide, covering grant opportunities for community groups, sports clubs, artists, event organisers and local businesses across the region.

Sustainable Business Impact Awards

Every year, the Fingal Business Awards celebrate the best of Fingal business across the private, public and charity sectors. A dedicated section - the Sustainable Business Impact Awards - recognises companies delivering meaningful, high-quality work on environmental, community and workplace sustainability.

These awards are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the role business plays in achieving those goals by 2030. Winning or being shortlisted is public recognition that your sustainability commitments are real, measured and making a difference.

Charity Fundraising

Each year, Fingal Chamber's Business Council selects a charity to benefit from the raffle at our Gala Awards Presentation Evening. Member businesses donate generous prizes - airline flights, hotel stays, hampers - and the proceeds go directly to the chosen cause.

In 2025, the raffle raised €6,000 for Little Fitness.
