Certificates of Origin
A Certificate of Origin is a document proving that goods in a particular export shipment are produced or manufactured in a particular country origin to satisfy customs or trade requirements.
Fingal Chamber offers a secure online digital certification through essCert - leading solution for electronic certification of trade documents.
essCert platform is used by exporters and shipping agents to sign, stamp, and certify Certs of Origin and documents using digital signatures. The service is fast, efficient, flexible and user friendly.
EU Certificates of Origin and other export documentation (ex. invoice, packing list) must be submitted through the online system essCert (www.esscert.com).

Legalisation
Fingal Chamber can assist on processing documents which require Embassy legalisation. We work closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs and The Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce to complete legalisations with the Embassies based in Ireland and UK.
Company Documents
Fingal Chamber can certify any company document as required (ex. Power of Attorney, Authorisation Letter, Manufactures Authorisation, Price Certificate, GMP Certificate etc).
One set of photocopies of all documents must be accompanied with the originals. If legalisation is required, please provide two set of photocopies.
Documents can be also submitted through essCert if a digital certification is acceptable. Please contact us for more information.
How to Apply
The Chamber requires certain information before it can provide certification services. An Indemnity Form and a list of authorised signatories must be completed and returned to the Chamber. This form must be renewed annually. To view/download this form click here.
Companies which are not members of the Chamber will also require to submit a copy of company’s Certificate of Incorporation.
If applicable, please also provide a copy of VAT Exemption Form.
