Networking Opportunities

Networking through the Chamber works on two tracks. You meet people in the room at our business networking meetings, and you keep those relationships going through the member community between events.

Both come with membership. Neither works if you only turn up once, so this page covers how to get value from each.

B2B Networking

The B2B Networking series is built to grow your professional network across north Dublin. You meet business owners and decision-makers from other member companies, in formats designed for actual conversation rather than a room of people collecting cards.

Not everyone networks the same way, so the series runs in several formats:

  • Business tours - see inside another member's operation and meet the people running it
  • Speed networking - short, structured introductions when you want to meet a lot of people in one go
  • Online meetups - useful when you cannot get away from the desk
  • Coffee and chats - informal, low-pressure and a good starting point if large rooms are not your thing

If you have avoided networking events because the format did not suit you, one of these probably will.

View the events calendar and register for the next one.

Not a member yet? You can attend one networking meeting before joining, so you can judge the room before you commit. Members can bring a non-member guest along too. Email events@fingalchamber.ie to arrange either.

Speaking at a meeting

Speaking is the fastest way to move from attending to being known. You get to explain what your business does to a room of potential customers and partners, and you establish yourself as someone worth listening to on your subject.

Members can put themselves forward for a speaking slot at a B2B Networking event. Add your name to the Speaker Interest List and we will be in touch when a suitable date comes up.

Between the events

Networking does not stop when a meeting ends. Membership gives you access to a private online community through Glue Up, our member platform, reachable from the Members' Area or the free mobile app.

That is where you follow up on a conversation, find a supplier, introduce yourself to someone you missed, or put a question to the wider membership. You can search the member directory by sector, category and location, exchange digital business cards, message members directly and join interest groups.

For how to set up your account and use the platform, see the Members' Area guide.

Making it work

Turning up is the easy part. If you want a steer on preparing for a meeting, working a room and following up afterwards, read the B2B Networking Guide.
