Meet The Buyer 2025 Sparks New Business Opportunities for Local Suppliers

Fingal Chamber, in collaboration with the Local Enterprise Office Fingal, successfully hosted Meet The Buyer 2025 on Thursday, April 10 at the Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport, connecting local suppliers with some of Ireland’s most prominent buying organisations.

The high-impact networking event drew strong attendance from across the region, with dozens of local businesses seizing the opportunity to pitch their products and services directly to senior procurement professionals through a series of scheduled one-to-one meetings. The event created a dynamic space for meaningful conversations, knowledge exchange, and potential partnerships — providing a vital platform for local suppliers to position themselves for future growth.

Major organisations from across aviation, hospitality, food service, retail, education, construction, and local government were represented at the event. Buyers included Aer Lingus, Aramark, Bidvest Noonan, daa, DCU, Fingal County Council, Glenveagh Homes, Gourmet Food Parlour, McCabes Pharmacy, Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre, Sysco, Tifco Hotel Group, and Trinity Care.

Meet The Buyer 2025 is a game-changing opportunity for local businesses to connect with some of the most well-established organisations in the region,” said Anthony Cooney, Chief Executive of Fingal Chamber. “Our goal is to strengthen local supply chains by facilitating these direct conversations and laying the groundwork for long-term commercial partnerships.”

Feedback from participants highlighted the value of face-to-face engagement with potential buyers. One attendee noted: “The ability to evaluate our product’s suitability for the businesses represented by the buyers—and understanding that building a network is key, as these opportunities often develop into mid-term pipelines rather than immediate sales—was incredibly useful.”

Another supplier shared that “even if you’re not talking to the right person on the day, the meeting can still lead to an introduction internally, helping to get your foot in the door with large companies.”

Participants particularly appreciated the personalised format of the event, which allowed them to present their offerings, ask targeted questions, and explore opportunities in real-time.

Fingal Chamber would like to thank all the buyers and suppliers who took part in this year’s event, and looks forward to continuing to champion local enterprise through strategic business events like Meet The Buyer.
