Entries Open for the Fingal Business Excellence & Sustainable Impact Awards 2026

Entries are now open for the Fingal Business Excellence & Sustainable Impact Awards 2026, with organisations across the county invited to enter before the deadline of 12 noon on Wednesday 30 September.

Now in their 22nd year, the awards recognise the businesses, public bodies and not-for-profits that make Fingal work, from start-ups and SMEs to large employers. Entry is free and open to any organisation operating in Fingal. Organisations can enter up to four of the 24 categories across four sections: Talent, Business Excellence, Sustainable Business Impact and Customer Experience.

The awards are organised by Fingal Chamber and headline sponsored by Fingal County Council. Every written entry is assessed by independent judging panels drawn from chambers and enterprise bodies across Ireland, and every finalist receives written feedback, win or lose. Customer Experience finalists also receive a mystery guest visit and a detailed report on the researchers' findings.

Free online briefing on 8 September

Organisations considering an entry can join a free online briefing on Tuesday 8 September at 3.00pm. The optional session walks through the entry process, explains what the judges look for and shares practical tips on building a strong submission. Entries run on a dedicated awards platform, where applicants can start a submission, save it and return to it as often as needed before the deadline.

Gala Awards Presentation Evening

Finalists will be announced at 12 noon on Friday 16 October, when tickets also go on sale. Winners will be revealed at the Gala Awards Presentation Evening on Friday 13 November at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, in front of around 500 guests from every sector in Fingal.

Fingal Chamber President, Jim Wylie, said:

“Most businesses spend the year with their heads down. An entry is the one time you stop and set out what you've actually done – and shortlisted or not, that's worth an afternoon. If you win, the whole county hears about it. There are 24 categories and it's free to enter. There's room for you somewhere on that list.”
