Fingal Chamber is delighted to announce that EirGrid, a leading force in Ireland's energy sector, will once again sponsor the Climate Action Award at the Fingal Business Awards.

This prestigious category, part of the Sustainable Business Impact section, recognises businesses showing outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability and meaningful action to address climate change.

EirGrid’s ongoing support reflects its deep commitment to a greener, more sustainable future—values that align closely with those of Fingal Chamber. We’re proud to continue this partnership celebrating local businesses driving real progress on climate action.

Anthony Cooney, Chief Executive of Fingal Chamber, said:

“Sustainability is now central to how successful businesses operate. With EirGrid’s continued support, the Climate Action Award will once again highlight the remarkable organisations leading the way towards a more sustainable future in our region. We’re grateful for EirGrid’s partnership in this important work.”

Sinead Dooley, Head of Public Engagement at EirGrid, said:

“We’re delighted to sponsor the Climate Action Award. As we lead the journey to decarbonising Ireland's energy system, we at EirGrid recognise the importance of businesses taking steps, big and small, to tackle climate change.

"These awards are a testament to the innovative work being done by businesses in this region to ensure they leave a positive mark on the environment, and we look forward to celebrating their contributions.

"We would like to congratulate everyone involved and wish all nominees the best of luck."

The 2025 Fingal Business Awards will culminate in a black-tie Gala Presentation on Friday, 14 November 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, Santry. Hosted by broadcaster Marty Whelan, the evening will bring together more than 400 guests for a celebration of innovation, sustainability and business excellence across Fingal.
