Membership Terms and Conditions

By joining Fingal Chamber of Commerce, you become part of a business community that supports and represents commercial interests across Fingal and beyond. The points below explain what membership means in practice.

Who can join

  1. Membership is open to businesses and organisations engaged in commercial activity.

  2. Organisations do not need to be based in Fingal to be eligible.

  3. All memberships are subject to Board approval and may be cancelled at their discretion.

  4. Membership belongs to the business rather than an individual, and their listed contacts may access member benefits when acting on behalf of the organisation.

Membership term and fees

  1. Membership runs for 12 months from the date you receive confirmation of approval.

  2. Member benefits begin immediately once membership is confirmed.

  3. Fees are based on the size of your organisation's headcount and turnover and are reviewed annually.

  4. Membership renews automatically unless written notice is provided at least two months before renewal.

  5. Membership fees are non-refundable and membership cannot be transferred.

Payment

  1. Membership fees may be paid by online payment or bank transfer.

  2. An auto-renewal payment option and an instalment payment option (for selected membership types) are available for applications and renewals.

  3. Payment is due within 30 days of joining or renewal.

  4. If payment is not received within 60 days, membership and benefits will be suspended or cancelled following notice.

Ending membership

  1. A member may choose not to renew by giving at least one month’s written notice before the renewal date.
  2. Fingal Chamber reserves the right to cancel membership where fees remain unpaid, where behaviour is inappropriate, where the Chamber’s reputation is put at risk, or where these terms are breached.

Member benefits

  1. Members are encouraged to make full use of Fingal Chamber events, services and opportunities.

  2. Membership benefits may change from time to time.

  3. The member directory is provided to support member connections and must not be used for unsolicited or generic marketing.

  4. Fingal Chamber accepts no responsibility for advice given or services provided by other members or third parties.

Using the Fingal Chamber member logo

  1. Members may use the official Fingal Chamber ‘Member’ logo on stationery, marketing materials and tender documents while membership is active.

  2. The logo must be used appropriately and in a way that reflects positively on Fingal Chamber.

  3. Use of the logo must cease immediately when membership ends, and Fingal Chamber may require its removal where continued use could damage the Chamber’s reputation.
