Fingal Chamber and Dains Ireland Unpack Budget 2026 for Local Business

Fingal Chamber, in partnership with Dains Ireland, hosted a Budget 2026 Briefing on 8 October to help businesses understand the implications of this year’s national budget.

The annual event, a key fixture in the Chamber calendar, provided members and the wider business community with expert insights into how new fiscal measures, employment supports and investment priorities will shape costs and competitiveness over the coming year.

The panel included John Fitzgerald, Tax Partner at Dains Ireland, Anthony Cooney, Chief Executive of Fingal Chamber, and Greg Clarke of Amica Eco-Hairdressing, with David Branagan, Communications Manager at Fingal Chamber, moderating the discussion.

Key topics included tax changes affecting SMEs, capital investment measures, and government supports for sustainability, skills, and housing — all central to Fingal’s ongoing growth and resilience as Ireland’s fastest-growing region.

Anthony Cooney, Chief Executive, Fingal Chamber said:

“Budget 2026 reflects many of the issues our members have raised — from housing supply to transport investment and business costs. What matters now is delivery. Fingal Chamber will continue to champion practical action on housing, skills and infrastructure so businesses can compete and communities can thrive.”

Speakers highlighted the importance of practical fiscal measures to support local enterprises, echoing the Chamber’s ongoing work in “supporting enterprise and driving regional competitiveness.”

Fingal Chamber continues to lead the conversation on the policies that matter most to the region’s business community. Through events such as the Budget Briefing with Dains Ireland, the Chamber empowers local enterprises to act with confidence and ensures that Fingal’s business voice is heard at the highest levels.
