Fingal Business Excellence & Sustainable Impact Awards 2026

Entries are open until Wednesday 30 September. Free to enter, open to any organisation operating in Fingal.

Now in their 22nd year, the awards recognise the businesses, public bodies and not-for-profits that make Fingal work, from start-ups and SMEs to large employers. Twenty-four categories across four sections: Talent, Business Excellence, Sustainable Business Impact and Customer Experience.

Organised by Fingal Chamber and headline sponsored by Fingal County Council.

Winners are announced at the black-tie Gala Awards Presentation Evening on Friday 13 November at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, in front of around 500 guests.

Why enter

  • Independent judging. Panels drawn from chambers and enterprise bodies across Ireland assess every written entry.
  • Feedback either way. Every finalist receives written feedback on their entry, whether they win or not.
  • A real customer audit. Customer Experience finalists get a mystery guest visit and a detailed report on what researchers found.
  • Visibility that lasts. Finalists and winners feature in press coverage, Chamber channels and on the night itself.
  • A room worth being in. Around 500 people from every sector in Fingal, in one place, for one evening.

The categories

  1. Talent — three awards recognising the people behind the business, including Business Person of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year.
  2. Business Excellence — nine awards covering growth, innovation, international trade, learning and development, and public and not-for-profit service.
  3. Sustainable Business Impact — five awards for organisations leading on climate action, workplace culture, diversity and community involvement.
  4. Customer Experience — seven awards for hospitality, retail and service businesses, assessed by mystery guest researchers who visit in person.
